The fastest way to your body

I’ve got BIG NEWS!

Here’s the fastest way to your best body: http://newfarmyourbestbodychallenge.com

I’m not kidding. Take a look right now, you’ll be glad you did.

Here’s the scoop… I’m running a contest. It’s called the “Your Best Body 12-Week Challenge.” And it’s free for everyone to participate. There’s just something about contests/challenges like “Your Biggest Loser” and others that really get folks motivated to do more and be more, faster than they would otherwise.

This is a great way to challenge yourself, with our help, and it won’t cost you a cent (just a small, one- time $10 donation to Make a Wish, a great local Charity here in New Farm.) I’m doing this to get more local folks the help they need to get the body they want…and to raise much needed funds for Make a Wish.

So it’s a winner all the way around. Take a look here for all the details, and to get my “Your Best Body Challenge 12-Week Transformation Guide” free. The Guide contains all the info about the Challenge…AND…a complete 12-week exercise and nutrition program for you to follow with or without our help. Just click the banner below

Pushups for Charity Windsor raises $1658 for Make a Wish

On Saturday, 7th May 2011, we held our 2nd Pushups for Charity event at Windsor Park, raising $1658 for Make a Wish Australia, helping children with life threatening diseases. This time, the sun was shining and the wind stayed away in what turned out to be a perfect day after a week of rain.

First, we were lucky enough to have Phil Chappell from Make a Wish to say a few words about the charity and the main reason we were there. Next was the star of the show, our “wish kid”, Billy, who is a comedian in the making. Billy was diagnosed with a brain tumor 2 years ago and granted a wish to travel to the snow for a trip of a lifetime. He had the crowd in stitches after his theatrical story telling of his adventures on the slopes.

Then it was time to do the push ups! After a quick warm up, 8 of us took up the challenge, cheered on by a very supportive crowd.  The best male and female received a great prize of Personal Training and Booty Camp sessions for their efforts. (check below for scores)

A special thanks goes out to Phil Chappell from Make a Wish and our “Wish Kid” Billy and his mum for coming along, our participants Kylie Clayton, Neal Baxter, Bill (the random guy on the bike), Di’anne Dolzan, Andrea Felsman and all those who came to cheer us along and make it such a fun event.

If you you’d like to donate to Pushups for Charity it’s not too late. Just click on the banner below. Remember, every little bit helps. Scroll down for the photos of the event.

Pushups for Charity Goes Global

Isn’t the world a small place, even smaller these days with modern technology. Recently, my parents and little sisters went over to the UK for a holiday. While there they caught up with Dad’s family in Scotland, the most enthusiastic being my cousin Ginny who was keen enogh to add me on Facebook after their trip.

Now I haven’t seen Ginny for 25 years. In fact I don’t even remember meeting her because I was only 6 at the time. Recently, we’ve had a great catchup fuelled by our Pushups for Charity event and 10 Day, 100 Pushup Challenge. Despite being in minus 20 degrees, Ginny participated in the 10 day challenge and managed 10 pushups in the snow in honour of the Charity event. I find it so exciting that we’ve managed to touch people from all over the globe with this event.

Pushups for Charity Brisbane Raises $1500 for Make a Wish!

On Saturday 27th November we held our first Pushups for Charity Brisbane event at the beautiful Newstead Park. 14 participants of varying age and fitness levels pumped out an impressive 990 pushups in 90 seconds as a group. Many thought they had to do it one by one under a spotlight, silly things, I wouldn’t do that to anyone! Of course they made me complete the remaining 10 to crack 1000 in total.

So far, we have raised $1500 for Make a Wish Australia who grant wishes to children with life threatening illnesses. We plan to smash through the $2000 mark and beyond but we need your help to do that.

If you would like to make a small donation click the banner below. We’ll reward you with a 12 Week Fat Elimination and Body Transformation home study course valued at $147.

The day started with a little about the Make a Wish, then I explained some best fitness practices with the 5 Steps to Transforming Your Body in Record Time.  After we all got charged up with a Healthy Energy Drink it was Pushup time. I dare say there were plenty of PB’s as everyone went Pushup crazy.

Thank you to everyone who participated, donated, businesses who supported, Lisa Vance from I’ve Got Life, Spinal Care Australia, Merlo Coffee, Oporto Chicken, Sit Down Comedy Club, our supplement company and Sonja Falvo from Real Body Program. To those who help organise it ; Myrna Widlend, Nicki Felton, Ian Tong, Kylie Clayton and Danny Slater a big thank you as well.

A big shout out to our new homeless friend Dave, aka “Bernie”, who helped blow up some balloons and completed an amazing 70 pushups with no training. Afterwards, we gave away a sample bag and Chocolate Protein Shake and celebrated with a quiet one at the Breakie Creek Hotel.

Make sure you get on board for our next Pushups for Charity Brisbane in late February.
