You Can’t Be Serious!!!- Classic Funny Video

If you’ve been watching the news you may have seen that the Legends of Tennis are in Australia at the moment, not least of which, John McEnroe. And his famous saying “YOU CAN’T BE SERIOUS!” is the theme for today’s blog.

You see, If you know me, you’ll know I’m normally a pretty positive guy. But I’m a little fed up with people telling me they can’t do Pushups for Charity because they couldn’t possibly do enough Pushups! Bollocks! I had one girl tell me last night she’ll be purposely on the other side of town when it’s on, nice.

Firstly, the word is “can’t” is a swear word in my language so remove it from your vocabulary right now!

Secondly, Pushups for Charity is not about doing Pushups! It’s not.

Now I can understand this reaction because who do we think of most? Ourselves. We all do it, I know I do despite my best efforts to genuinely see other people’s point of view.

How Not To Finish a Marathon…. Very Funny :)

Hi guys,

Hope you had a fun weekend and have lots of exercise planned for the week.

Now my favourite type of exercise by far is to run. There is something about straping on the IPOD and hitting the pavement in the sun that I love.

This year I decided to compete in my first marathon on the Gold Coast which was a great experience. The longest I had ever run previous to that was 14km and I believed that was my limit. As tough as the training and event itself was, I’m looking forward to having another crack next year. I also ran the City to Surf in Sydney for the third time, one of the best things I’ve ever done,  and shaved 4 minutes off my best time.

I’m not telling you this to impress you, rather to impress upon you what you can achieve once you get into the right mindset.

Anyway, I just jumped on You Tube and found this funny video of competitors struggling to finish a  marathon.

It cracked me up and I thought you might like it too.


My “Star Wars Cats” in Action

As you may or may not know I have 2 beloved pets called Obi and Yoda, or as I like to call them the “Star Wars Cats”. They are full of personality and turn people who don’t like cats into cat lovers.
